    After retrieving the missing green ribbon of Lanertima, Willow returned to his city wishing his positive influence on Earth could be kept quiet. The judges wouldn't allow this, saying that his good deeds belonged to everyone and must be shared. On Earth Willow had been told that writing stories was a time-consuming, solitary occupation and, as he now needed an excuse to avoid crowds of admiring people, it seemed like the perfect solution. No Peltrounan had ever written anything down about their life.. Willow knew he'd be an incompetent author, but working on his autobiography would keep him busy, safe from facing the crowds. The writing of his book was difficult, but it was to have unimaginable and miraculous consequences on two planets.

    There was panic on Peltrouna. A robe ribbon was missing and the only explanation was that the cousins had hidden it on Earth. Knowing that Earthlings had travelled in space alarmed the judges and they sent their Communicator to investigate. On Earth, Mary, a humble domestic servant, was also panicking. She had been ordered to the farm for the summer holiday. Her shameful past made it difficult for her to mix with strangers, but soon after her arrival, Colonel Dawson was injured during a break-in at the Manor House. Mary went to help and was asked to distract him by telling her story. She managed to do this without revealing everything. However, the Communicator soon uncovered all her secrets. What would these revelations mean for Mary?

    In the Manor garden a spaceship was loaded and ready to depart. Inside were twenty distressed orphans, one untamed teenage outlaw and a Koomelta overlord who was recovering from a near fatal injury. All had been recently rescued from the barbaric planet of Suscranis. In charge of the flight were 3 spacemen, Scientist, Engineer and Navigator, plus Willow, the Communicator responsible for helping the passengers to relax and prepare for their new life on Peltrouna. No one expected an easy journey. Watching the departure on Earth were the eleven human members of the Interplanetary Green Ribbon Club. They had been involved in the rescue and were left wondering what the future held for those they had helped. Would the twenty grieving orphans be able to settle on Peltrouna? Would the unruly teenager be returned to Suscranis? And more importantly, would the injured Koomelta survive the journey? Soon the human IGRC members would have to face their own problems. The first involved attending the funeral of someone they had never met. This led to the eleven becoming unwelcome guests at an elegant birthday party at Sawdon Hall. The party-goers returned from this function to find three unexpected visitors making themselves at home in the Manor House.

    ‘HERE’ is the first book in The Interplanetary Green Ribbon Club series. The action takes place on Earth where, a humble farmer’s children, Robert and Edith, have made a den on forbidden land. They plan to visit it regularly during the summer holiday, but there is a problem. They have promised to take care of their annoying and wealthy cousin, Peter, during his six week stay. Brother and sister force their unwilling cousin to trespass with them, but on reaching the clearing, they see a tall and graceful alien. They are all fascinated by his strange behaviour and watch until it becomes clear that the creature is burying himself. When the alien is safely hidden in his grave the cousins must decide what action to take.

In the Spring, Lord David Dawson married Mary, a penniless domestic servant. David's aristocratic family were horrified;and their suspicions would cause difficulties as the IGRC prepared to help the Peltrounans.ON PELTROUNA: the judges wrestled with the problem of joining forces with humans who were prepared to kill. Their hearts were moved by the plight of the descendants of their long-lost ancestors, suffering under their cruel Suscrani overlords.Would their peaceful lifestyle be destroyed forever if others, as unruly as the wild child,Kokula, were brought back to their planet?ON SUSCRANIS: There were dangerous complications during the rescue attempt. The team were betrayed. Two of the rescuers were captured and sentenced to a terrifying death in the Suscrani arena. Help from their team mates in the spaceship was impossible because the rescued Iccoshandee on board had mutinied, hijacking the spaceship and taking it far away from the arena.

His judges hoped that by sending him back to Earth he would be helped, but his problems spiralled sky-high when the children were kidnapped.

    Members of the Interplanetary Green Ribbon Club remain involved on three planets. ON PELTROUNA the judges are bewildered by the silent protests of the rescued slaves who seem unable to settle in their underground cities. Worse still the rescued teenager, a committed member of the Yosenngra outlaws on Suscranis, is keen to set up a rebel army on Peltrouna and rule over the planet by force.It seemed important to confirm that SUSCRANIS was still barren and uninhabitable and another spaceship was sent there. But from a cave in the mountains, the space-travellers detected the pathetic cries of a tiny baby; adding more problems for the Peltrounans.Would the rescued slaves want to go back to their homeland now it was able to sustain life? Would studying the Mysterious Objects help the freed slaves to settle and become useful citizens?ON EARTH there were problems too. The IGRC was involved in the search for the 'reluctant hero' who was missing and may have been mortally wounded, but finding the heroic teenager, involved the club in illegal activities. Could the IGRC behave honourably while breaking the law? Work on the seven ancient books was challenging the judges on Peltrouna, but their confusion was responsible for Willow being sent back to Earth once more,

His friends told him that the party would be disastrous and advised him to cancel it. Although he agreed that this might be true, he begged them to support him. Meanwhile, on the barbaric planet of Suscranis, the Peltrounans were searching for descendants of their long lost ancestors. Having found a savage little girl who was being brought up by a pack of wild dogs, they captured her and brought her into their spaceship. The child's behaviour was so unacceptable that they decided to go to the Manor for help. David's New Year's Eve celebrations had started badly even before the two alien gate-crashers joined the party.
